Physical security

Any cyber protection is not worth much if your laptop, phone or tablet is stolen and accessible.

While traveling, take extra procautions to keep your electronic devices secure.
Never leave electronics visible in a parked vehicle. In the trunk or other out-of-sight location is best.
Secure all electronics with company information with a secure password. If the device is lost or stolen this will help keep company information out of the hands of others.
Label all equipment so that if recovered it may be returned quickly.
Report any loss of equipment immediately to your supervisor and IT support.
